Thank you for inquiring about The Pod Drop franchise opportunity. We currently have 2 franchised stores located in Madison Heights and Utica Michigan. We are hoping to expand to 10 franchises in 2009 with locations throughout the state. The Pod Drop is a privately owned company that was started in 2007. We are currently looking for individuals who are willing to run The Pod Drop stores as owner/operators. The Pod Drop's success has been due to the hard working and dedicated people who provide customers with quality service at a fair price. We expect the same from our Franchise stores owners.
The Pod Drop Name
You'll have the right to use The Pod Drop's name and logo at your location. The Pod Drop has become a recognized name in the iPod/iPhone repair business in a very short time. We have great placement on organic search engines, have had numerous articles and TV segments reported on us, and are among the top 3 repair facilities in the nation.
Quality Parts and Accessories
The Pod Drop has built and maintained outstanding relationships with the best sources for iPod and iPhone parts, upgrades and accessories from the leading manufacturers. The Pod Drop orders all the parts and accessories and supplies them to the The Pod Drop store locations at a reduced rate. You benefit by not having to maintain a large inventory of parts, thereby reducing your overhead.
Training
We provide you with comprehensive training at no additional charge. For 30 days a The Pod Drop technician will be on-site at your location to cover repair and troubleshooting procedures for all iPod and iPhone models. After your initial training is over you'll have a direct line to a The Pod Drop Technician for over the phone support. Our success is based on your success, and that means making the right repairs quickly. You can count on the The Pod Drop to be there every step of the way.
Marketing and Advertising
We provide you with ongoing support from the day of your grand opening and beyond. We strive to work with our franchisees to develop programs that will assist in their success. All of our marketing and advertising programs (television, radio, and direct mail) support our continued commitment to quality.
Your store will also get's it's own page on our web site, www.thepoddrop.com. for use in your own marketing objectives. You'll be able to edit this page so you can post your own information on specials, notices, etc. If you would like The Pod Drop to manage the site for you we can do that at a small fee.
Finding a Location
The Pod Drop does not guaranty or secure your lease for a location. We have found it most profitable to sublet space from an existing business that offers a related service such as Cel phone, music, and battery stores. At times we have an existing store or have secured a lease in a location that you might be interested in. We will provide you with the details, if you express an interest and we believe you would be suitable for the location. We must approve all sites, but the final site selection is yours.
Store Design and Build Out
After you find a location we will work with you to come up with a preliminary layout of your store. Typically a The Pod Drop store can function in a minimum of space. We can provide sources for signage, counters, and product display. You may use your own contractors.
